Our Biography

The company started its activity with Yacht Charters and Technical Support of Boats in Italy, from 1992 to 1998.

Its founder, George Vlamis, a student at the italian University of Perugia at that time, was fortunate to meet with Italian shipowners and shipbuilders, who brought him to the secrets of the ships and later to the Maritime Tourism Industry.

From 1998 until Today we deal with Management, Charter and Technical Support of Boats up to 24 Meters. In 1998 the Company moved to Greece

From November 2001 to December 2005, parallel to our yachting activities, we were Subcontractors at the Hellenic Shipyards of Skaramangas in Athens.

We also were Co-founders of "Insulation's Experts", Technical Insulation Company (Fire, Thermoacoustics on Freight Boats and Mega Yachts.) The company was sold after four years of great success with the aim of specializing in Yachting. .

Our fleet consists of privately owned vessels and owner vessels (alphabetically) from the following countries: Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Spain, United Kingdom. We manage both privately and commercially owned vessels. Our fleet is selected by the most important charter brokers and agents around the world.

We are in a position to guarantee the Net to Owner Income because of our repeater customers but we are also connected with the biggest charter agencies in Greece and abroad.

Our company has set up a Group of Companies for each of its activities under the common name "Vlamis Enterprises".

Our company specializes in the establishment of a subsidiary company of foreign shipping companies in Greece too. We provide tools and human resorses, including lawyers and accountants. It is common practice for foreign companies to establish branches in Greece to carry out all or part of their business. A Greek branch has the same tax and accounting obligations as a Greek company and its profits are taxed at the same rates as domestic companies.
According to the latest legislation, boat owners can keep their EU flag and have a very low-duty commercial ship in Greece (Maritime Tourism Incentive Act and boat ownership / 10.12.2015). The branch is managed by the legal representative appointed by the foreign company and has the right to represent the branch in Greece. The legal representative is responsible as a member of the Board of Directors of NEPA (MCPY) or SA (SA) or the manager of a Limited Liability Company (EPE).
MCPY Companies are Tax Free in Greece under certain conditions.
Our international experience in the USA, Germany, France and Italy makes us a "package" designed to meet a growing demand for professional services that were previously not available in Greece.
